When everything comes together a winter wedding can be awesome. Chris and Joanne chose massively cool Chaucer Barn, situated in north Norfolk near Holt for their wedding reception (easily one of my favourite wedding venues in the UK) and Baconsthorpe Church close by for their wedding ceremony. The Sun decided that today was the day to make an appearance (no doubt prompted by Jo’s infectious smile) and during the daylight hours we had big blue skies all the way. After the bridal preps with the lovely Emily of Love Moi we headed across to Baconsthorpe for the happy and fun service with their son Henry playing piano as Jo walked up the aisle. A little mention has to go to the vicar here who is a real character! Shaun of Vision Videography covered the video aspect and he, as ever, was great to work alongside. Guitar George was also playing throughout the day and if you are looking for somebody to provide some amazing acoustics look no further. Chris isn’t too bad either and after a rendition from the balcony of Chaucer Barn to his lovely Jo he had his guests calling for an encore! Another great thing about Chaucer Barn is that you have it for a few days so I was able to come back the day after and do a lifestyle portrait shoot with Jo, Chris and Henry and capture them again with a bit more daylight. This is one of those weddings that I could probably write a couple of pages about but I’ll let the imagery do the talking from here on…enjoy!
